Street Lights

This is what happens when I'm bored inside the car at 11:30PM. :)

PARIS, France is famously called “La Ville-Lumière” or the City of Light. It’s one of the top tourist destinations of all time. A lot of people’s dream is to visit Paris. That’s my dream too! I was able to go to PARIS! It was indeed God’s blessing to me! 

When I was in Paris, I joined a tour group simply because it makes traveling easier! You just hop on the tour bus and you’re good to go! They’ll bring you to the different famous places around the metro plus a tour guide sharing the history of that place. If you’re into photography and wants to be immersed in their culture, opt for a leisurely tour. You get to plan your own itinerary in the afternoon and in the evening. OR if you have lots of money to spare, you may join the additional tours prepared by the tour company.

 The LOUVRE Museum 

Hotel Du Louvre. Nope, I didn’t stay here, though I would want to. (I think this is one of the most expensive hotels there) This hotel  is located near the famous LOUVRE museum. It is so close that exhibits can be observed from the windows in some of the rooms and suites! Imagine that! A telescope might be handy too! Uhh, I mean “bulky” too.

The Louvre is an ancient building. Today, The Louvre houses an amazing museum of art, where you can see the famous “Mona Lisa” and other important art work. Our tour guide told us that if you look at a painting and study it for exactly 3 minutes, then you move on to the next one… it will take you 8 years to finish the whole museum!!!! EIGHT YEARS!!! OH MY! That’s how HUGE the museum is!

Another perk of joining a tour group: there’s NO LINE. Priorities will be given to you and your tour guide will be responsible to get your tickets and so on. Thanks to our hard working tour guides! 

Isn’t the Louvre a sight to behold? My jaw dropped by its beauty! =O I waited for the sky to darken. I waited for 3 hours!!!! I recently discovered that Paris’ sunset is late! So late. But it was all worth it. I was able to meet new friends and even saw a man wearing boots and he started picking coins in the fountain!!!! I wasn’t sure if he was a Louvre worker tasked to pick the coins every night. Well maybe not,  tourists were all staring at him, but he continued on anyway.

At last, Louvre in the evening! Loving the water reflection! I took this shot without a tripod! YAY! (No shaky hands!) It’s already 11:30 in the evening and I was in a hurry. *rushing back to the hotel* 

Created a heart using a cellphone flashlight! I love the Louvre! Will definitely go back! <3

Hong Kong Disneyland Adventure

I went to Hong Kong with some relatives during the long weekend.  We grabbed this chance to travel abroad because we’ve been working endlessly! Of course, going to Hong Kong means shopping, food tripping and visiting Disneyland! Every person who grew up with Disney should visit Disneyland once (or more) in their lifetime! 

We stayed in Marco Polo Prince Hotel just beside the Marco Polo Gateway Hotel and mall which is somewhat near the Tsim Sha Tsui (the RED line). I used my MINI Octopus key chain to pay. There are actually two ways to ride the MTR going to HK Disneyland.

1.) Ride from Tsim Sha Tsui (RED line-going up) until Lai King. Then transfer to theYELLOW line, until you reach Sunny Bay. From there ride the HK Disneyland MTR (PINKline)!

2.) Ride from Tsim Sha Tsui (RED line-going down) until Central. Then transfer to theYELLOW line, until you reach Sunny Bay. From there ride the HK Disneyland MTR (PINKline)!

Note: Way #1 has more stops, so your trip may take a little bit longer than the other one.

You’ll definitely know you’re going to Disneyland because of how the train looks like! Mickey Mouse plus other cute figurines inside!  During that time, A LOT of tourists and locals were there! Since classes opens in September (in some countries), parents took time out to bring their children to Disneyland.

For one day ticket, General Admission ticket for ages 12-64 costs HK $ 399. Child ticket – ages 3-11 costs HK $ 285. Tax added!

Riding the train to see some views of the Jungle with animals, though most of the time all we could see were trees!!! Wished this train could bring us around to see the whole HK Disneyland.

Where our train stopped: FANTASYLAND! So cute and colorful! I love the view of the mountains at the back! It feels so peaceful! 

Food stalls in the sidewalks selling hotdogs, corns and of course, juices and water for the HOT weather!!!! *whew*

I love entering each and every shop in Disneyland! Loving the aircon inside! haha! And the countless stuff toys, figurines, pens, cookies, key chains, shirts, bags, practically everything that you can buy as “pasalubong” (it’s like a coming home gift  )

When I was a little child I love Winne the Pooh! I love everything with Winnie the Pooh! Visiting this store brings back a lot of good memories! <3 i loooove Hunny!

Splash Island Part 1

It’s been years (9 years I think!) since I’ve been to Splash Island Spa and Resort.This year 2012 is a good one! I was able to visit SPLASH ISLAND again! Oh the excitement and joy that we had! 

Welcome to Splash Island! The Philippine's Number 1 Water adventure park.

Make sure to view this so you’ll get to your desired location faster plus you won’t get lost!:p

The bamboo is a straight, tall and hollow treelike plant abundant in the Philippines. The Big Bam Boo in Splash Island is a covered tunnel rid that slides straight into pure excitement!

If you just want to relax and float away, Balsa River is the place for you. Drift along this gently flowing river.

Pick an “inner tube” / life saver or rubbler” balsa and float away.

Make sure to put lots of sunblock because  you’ll be out with the sun for a loooong ride around the island!

Splash Island now offers Look Young Forever -Lyf Center Spa. Feel the relaxation after the long hours of adventure in the island. 

Cabin rentals

Wondering where to put your bags? They have Locker Rentals! P100 each locker. The lockers were kinda small though, but if you got big bags, you could rent a big crate for P300 – good for around 7 bags or more depending on the size.

Big waves are exactly what you get at Agos Grandes.  With machine-generated waves, this one-of-a-kind pool allows you to completely immerse yourself and go with the tide.

FOR KIDS ONLY? NOT! Wahoo.  That’s a kind of tropical fish.  Wahoo! Now, that’s your kind of tropical fun!  This interactive kiddie pool will delight every little boy and girl with innovative water play activities.

Until now, I’m still delighted with Water Wahoo. TIP: If you want FREE water back massage, this is the place to be! Check out the adults in the photo! haha.
